Olivia Charest
Dental student
Originally from Beresford, Olivia graduated from ”École Secondaire Népisiguit” in 2019. She then earned her Diploma of Health Sciences (DSS) from ”Université de Moncton”, campus de Shippagan. She is currently a fourth-year student in the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the ”Université de Montréal” and will graduate in 2027. She is excited to begin her career as a dentist and to provide oral health services to the community. Olivia has been working at the Beresford Dental Center, as a student, during the summer since 2023.
Olivia has always been involved in her community. Among other things, she was President of the student council of ”École Secondaire Népisiguit” and Vice President of Finance of the ”Association étudiante de l’Université de Moncton”, campus de Shippagan. She is currently a member of the student association of the Faculty of Dentistry, ”Université de Montréal”, where she co-edits the student newspaper.
Throughout her high school and university years, she was also involved in numerous committees and fundraisers. In 2021, she received the ”Ordre du mérite Bleu et Or” from ”Université de Moncton” for her academic achievements and community contributions.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys the outdoors, running, cycling, reading, and camping. She also loves spending time with her sister, family and friends. Olivia’s main values are empathy, helping others, caring for her community and family.
The team at the Beresford Dental Center is looking forward to welcoming Olivia in 2027.
